Our mission of providing a home away from home for families of children hospitalized locally is supported by the generosity of people like you. While we are named after the funloving Ronald McDonald character, only a limited portion of our operational funding is underwritten by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England, so we rely on large and small individual donations, corporate support and grants to help us fund this comfortable home for families wishing to be close to their child while he/she receives treatment.
You may download our convenient donation form or your gift can be made in the following ways. Either way your gift is fully tax deductible:
By check: Please make checks payable to the Providence Ronald McDonald House, 45 Gay Street, Providence, RI 02905
By credit card: Please use our donation form for credit card gifts – Fax to us at 751-3730 – we’ll be able to do this on line shortly.
Gifts in memory or in honor of someone: Please include the person’s name, whether it is in memory or in their honor, name of person to whom gift should be acknowledged and their address, and your name and address.
Matching gifts: Increase your donation through your company’s matching gift program. We are a 501(c)3 corporation.
United Way: You can designate us as a beneficiary through your United Way donation. The agency number for the RI campaign is 78781 (in other states it is best to list our name as the agency to which you wish to donate). We also participate in the campaigns supported by federal and state workers.
Planned gifts: Any will or legacy gifts are welcome, call for information.

Benefit Cookbooks: Providence Ronald McDonald House has From the Heart of our House Cookbooks available for sale. The cookbook is a collection of recipes from the families and friends of the House and is being offered at $10. To purchase a book, please call 401-274-4447 or email postmaster@prmh.org for a wonderful mix of appetizers, breads, soups, Rhode Island specialties and more….Makes a great gift!
Commemorative Bricks and Pavers: For those wishing to make a gift in honor or memory of someone, the Providence Ronald McDonald House has a beautiful courtyard garden and children’s play area used for family respite and recreation in which bricks and pavers are laid. Gifts of $50 are commemorated with a brick and gifts of $250 or more with a paver.
