Staying at the Providence Ronald McDonald House: General Information
Check-In Procedures:House check-in hours are 9am-8pm for all non-emergency families. We ask for a donation of $10 per day if you are able. You should bring your own clothing, and any food items you may desire. The kitchens are stocked with donations.Check-Out Procedures:It is each guest's responsibility to prepare the room for the next family. Complete the check-out form and return your key to the office.Office Hours:The office is open from 9am-9pm for your convenience. There is a staff member or volunteer at the House 24 hours a day for emergencies.Quiet Hours:The office is closed from 9pm-9am. We ask that each guest be considerate of the sleeping needs of other families.Children:Children under 16 years old staying at the House cannot be left unattended at any time.Holidays & Special Occasions:Often holidays and special occasions occur during your stay at the Ronald McDonald House. On holidays, volunteers will prepare dinners or barbecues for the families to enjoy. If a birthday or special occasion occurs during your stay, please let the office know, and we will try to help you celebrate.Visitors:Visitors are welcome at the House from 9am-9pm only and must sign in at the office. Please note that children visiting the House must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Additional family members may stay overnight with prior approval of the House Manager and must be listed on the registration card and advised of all House rules.Parking:Parking for all residents is provided free of charge. We ask that you do not park on the street overnight and do not leave valuables in your car. The hospital vans can take you back and forth to the hospital at anytime.
